Last winter, our newest ambassador Jeff and his lovely wife Lorena were spending some time in Indonesia while Flavio and his family were also in Indonesia as part of their gap-year world travels. As enthusiastic as they are, Jeff and Flavio decided to meet up, surf some waves together, and create some images. The resulting series of images was labeled “SeaCell Indo Diary” because Flavio was wearing his Visitor Clothing SeaCell shirts ALL THE TIME.

"PENTOL SAPI DAN AYAM" TRANSLATES TO BEEF AND CHICKEN MEATBALLS. SMILES AND WAVING HI DO NOT NEED ANY TRANSLATION.

Most photos were shot in Kuta, Lombok, which has gotten busy—really busy. We’re talking non-stop construction sounds due to all the new places being built. Add in the Mandalika MotoGP race track, the mostly deserted highway-like streets from Kuta to the race track (located right behind Seger Reef), and the dozens of streets seemingly going nowhere, and you get a vibe that’s hard to describe. But it certainly leaves you with the impression that times have changed in Lombok, that more change is inevitable, and that there’s a high likelihood this change will not focus on sustainable growth for the community and the environment. To be honest, it would be a huge surprise if it were different.

Apart from the images shot in Lombok, some were taken on a little island that shall remain nameless here. It’s certainly no secret spot anymore, but why accelerate its development further? Let’s just say nearly empty spots still exist if one is willing to travel.

Why we love SeaCell
Back to the name of the story: Our SeaCell shirts have become a staple in many of our customers’ wardrobes. The reasons are obvious. They are extremely comfortable and have a universally loved fit. The SeaCell fiber’s characteristics are good for your skin, and you can feel it. More on the properties of the SeaCell fiber here: SeaCell Visitor Clothing

Buying a SeaCell shirt also does a little good in the world. We donate one square foot of seagrass or kelp for every SeaCell product sold. For this, we partner with SeaTrees, a program of Sustainable Surf, a nonprofit focused on transforming surf culture into a force for sustainability. SeaTrees evolved as the organization’s flagship program to directly support ocean health. Today, SeaTrees is not just about planting trees in the ocean; it’s about creating a movement that aligns communities, businesses, and individuals to prioritize the planet’s most vital ecosystems. As Visitor Store, we are happy and proud to have been part of this movement for many years already.

And boy, are we happy to have onboarded Jeff to our ambassador team. In the short time he has been with us, he has already made his mark at Visitor Store, shooting our SS25 lookbook images and contributing heavily to our new corporate identity with photos from his archive, which he was gracious enough to share with us.
We are currently planning our FW25 shoot, with Jeff behind the lens, of course. The location of the shoot will be in southwest France. Let’s see if we will call it the “Les Landes SeaCell Diaries” or come up with a different name.
