Last winter, our newest ambassador Jeff and his wife Lorena spent some time in Indonesia, as did Flavio and his family as part of their world tour during their sabbatical year.

Jeff and Flavio enthusiastically decided to meet up, surf together, and take some photos for Visitor Store . The resulting photo series was dubbed "SeaCell Indo Diary" because Flavio wore his SeaCell shirts from Visitor Clothing

"Pentol Sapi dan Ayam" means something like "beef and chicken meatballs". Smiling and waving need no translation.

The locations of the shooting

Most of the photos were taken in Kuta, Lombok, which has become quite hectic – really hectic. New buildings are constantly being erected, creating deafening construction noise. Add to that the Mandalika MotoGP racetrack, the almost deserted, highway-like roads from Kuta to the track (just behind Seger Reef), and the dozens of roads that seem to lead nowhere, creating an atmosphere that's hard to describe.

But the impression remains that times have changed in Lombok, that further changes are inevitable, and that these changes will most likely not be geared towards sustainable growth for the community and the environment. Frankly, we would be very surprised if it were otherwise.

In addition to the photos taken in Lombok, we also took some on a small island that we won't name here. It's no longer a hidden gem, but why push development there any further? Let's just say that there are still almost untouched places to be found if you're willing to travel for them.

Idyllic view of the sea

Why do we love SeaCell?

Back to the topic: Our SeaCell shirts have become indispensable in the wardrobes of many of our customers. The reasons are obvious. They are extremely comfortable and have a fit that everyone loves. The properties of the SeaCell fiber are good for the skin, and you can feel that immediately.

What your SeaCell shirt does for the oceans

By purchasing a SeaCell shirt, you're also making a small contribution to protecting the environment. For every SeaCell product sold, we donate one square foot of seagrass or kelp. To this end, we partner with SeaTrees, a program of Sustainable Surf – a non-profit organization dedicated to making surfing a driving force for sustainability.

SeaTrees has become the organization's flagship program, directly dedicated to ocean conservation. Today, SeaTrees is about more than just planting trees in the sea; it's about creating a movement that unites communities, businesses, and individuals to prioritize our planet's most vital ecosystems. At Visitor Store, we're happy and proud to have been part of this movement for many years.

From SS25 to FW25: The SeaCell Diaries continue

And man, are we glad to have Jeff on our ambassador team. In the short time he's been with us, he's already made a name for himself at Visitor Store by shooting our SS25 image series and supporting our new brand identity with photos from his archive, which he kindly provided.

We're currently planning our FW25 shoot, with Jeff behind the camera, of course. The location will be in southwestern France. We'll see if we call it "Les Landes SeaCell Diaries" or come up with something else.

The quintessential cliché of tropical surfing: a surfboard and a coconut.
